The Main Event

The 41st Gulf Shores Mardi Gras Parade
The City of Gulf Shores returns to host the 41st Mardi Gras Parade on Tuesday, Mar 5th. Dating back to 1978, the entire town comes out to mingle participate in the family-friendly parade. Get ready to be showered in toys, beads and moon pies!
Starting at 10:00 am, this year's route travels down Clubhouse Drive south to Beach Boulevard along Alabama State Route 59.
Orange Beach Mardi Gras Parade
If you haven't had your fill of parades, you can find a whole new set of floats, marching band, and paraders at the Orange Beach Mardi Gras Parade. Hop on over to Orange Beach to catch the procession, starting at 2:00 pm and moving down Perdido Beach Avenue. Join 30,000 spectators in cheering on the spectacle of costumes, decorations, and music.
After painting the town with beads, find your way home easily with a stay at Best Western on the Beach. Wake up merely walking distance from the gorgeous white-sand beaches!
