Ah, there’s so much to love about the summer months. The weather is glorious. People are enthusiastic about life and want to live it to the full. And then there are the events. While it’s more than enjoyable to spend long days at the beach, it’s always nice to attend an event or do an activity from time to time, too. If you’re visiting the Gulf Shore during the back of July, then you’ll find no shortage of things to do. We take a look at some of the goings-on that’ll be in store for you during your trip below.
Are your kids wild about sharks? Then they’ll get a real buzz from Gulf State Park Shark Week, which will be taking place at the Gulf State Park Fishing and Education Pier from July 23 - 27, and will include fun displays, games, crafts, and much more.
You’re roaming the pleasant streets of the Gulf Shore on a warm summer’s night. What could make the experience more magical? Only fireworks! Each Monday throughout summer, you’ll have the chance to catch the ‘Sparks After Dark’ Fireworks Show - a great way to cap off a fun day of vacation!
On Saturday evenings from 6 - 8:30 pm, the only place to be will be The Pelican Place, which will be hosting concerts as part of the ever-popular Sounds of Summer Event. Head down, and enjoy the concert with locals and tourists alike.
Looking for the best hotel in the Gulf Shore? Then look no further than the Best Western On The Beach. Our well-appointed, spacious rooms come with a great view, and that’s not all we offer, either: amongst others, you’ll be treated to amenities that include a beachside outdoor pool, an onsite restaurant, and free high-speed internet.
